About My Art & Oyster Angels

I’ve always been inspired by the sea and the peaceful beauty of the Golden Isles, where I grew up. Every oyster shell I use is personally hand picked by me from our local beaches, then transformed into oyster angels—unique creations displayed on driftwood, cypress, reclaimed wood, or canvas.

Having taught dance in the Golden Isles, I love bringing movement and life into my creations. Each angel seems to have its own personality; some look like they’re flying, others dancing, and all seem to shine with their own coastal spirit. No two are ever the same, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Every single piece I create—oyster angels and painted wood pieces alike—carries a Fruit of the Spirit on the back, serving as a meaningful reminder of God’s love, guidance, and encouragement.

I also love painting encouraging and faith-filled sayings on wood boards—simple reminders meant to make people smile and feel loved. My hope is that each piece I create shares a bit of God’s love, coastal beauty, and everyday encouragement with whoever brings it home.
